Picture yourself at the foot of the Great Pyramid with a guide who reads its history to you, then face to face with the Sphinx. In Luxor you walk through the hypostyle hall at Karnak and go down into the tombs of the Valley of the Kings. In Aswan a boat takes you out to the temple of Philae, and an early start brings you to the temples of Ramesses II at Abu Simbel.
Between the sights a driver waits for you in a private car, and the evenings are your own: a Nile cruise, a felucca at sunset, or dinner on the terrace of your hotel.
